Bought this for my 2001 F250 driver side, my door had been flying open on. The highway, it was all my fault, I sprayed Triflow in my lock to fix a squeek *DONT EVER USE THIS PRODUCT on your locks,Dealt with the door flying open for 2 months,This is an awsome price and the quality seems solid.It's been installed for 2 months now and not once has my door flown open!LMAO hope this helps

Worked great on my 2000 F250, couldn't find the drivers side door latch anywhere else. This was a great price too. My old latch would not hold the door closed. Take your time on the install, it takes some patience.

If you aren't a decent mechanic don't even try installing these urself. I'm fairly advanced and it wasn't easy. Lots of moving parts and rods need to be transferred from the old to new piece. The door handle needs to be hooked up and the old actuator needs to be installed on it too. It seems to be holding up well. If your truck is low mileage or in above average condition definitely invest in the oem part.

So this item is just like the oem product from Ford except better! For the first time since buying this truck I can close the door and it actually stay closed! I am loving it! Installing it wasn't to bad either.
