The tailgate latch on my 2002 Trailblazer with 445,000 original miles on it finally broke. I read about others breaking after less than 200,000 miles so I'm guess I'm really lucky I take care of my EXT. It was easier to install than I imagines because of how hard it was to get to the old broken one and remove it. The installation was very easy and it has been working great. I've been very happy with my Trailblazer and have always taken excellent care of my vehicles. I hope I can make it to 1,000,000 miles. Great actuator, great price and does the job.

After 4 or 5 years of battling with the rear hatch on the wife's Trailblazer, i ordered this latch. after the 10 min it took to put it in place, the latch now works and even locks which it has never done since we got the vehicle!! Well worth the $20 for the latch!!

Works perfectly for 2007 Isuzu Ascender hatchback. Will fix locking issues for both the hatchback and hatchback glass. This single part actuates both of these locking functions.

if you know what youre doing, or at least watch a quick video you will have no problem installing this yourself. I have had no issues with it so far and it works very well! I dont need to back right up to our fence at night anymore now that our vehicle completely locks.
