This part in my husbands Ford F150 went bad on the rear passenger door and it wouldn’t ever unlock so the door was unusable. After 3-4 hours my husband and dad were able to successfully install the replacement part and it fit perfectly and has worked wonderfully since.

The product works pretty well. My 2010 F150 door stopped opening from the exterior door handle. I replaced this assembly and now, the door will still open when the truck is supposed to be locked. I wonder if the lock mechanism is not functioning correctly. The bar that is supposed to indicate that it is locked moves up and down like it should.
