The installation was only difficult because the door design. The van door just doesn’t have a lot space to connect the cables and rods. The replacement latch assembly is great includes the cables that break making the door useless.

No negatives. The part is fine. Just adding some observations.The round keepers on the ends of the cables are plastic. The old ones were aluminum.The cable going to the outside handle is a stiffer pull than the inside handle or the old one. Requires a little extra tug to open the door. Alignment adjustment is negligible. Not sure how much extra pressure that puts on the plastic keeper. Time will tell.Again, not negatives,, just observations..It does what it is meant to do.

I first tried to rebuild the cable ends didn't work, so I spent $11, it's much easier to get this part and it works perfect and no problems. Should have done this the first time.
