I had the annoying sound of grinding gears coming from my rear CRV door. This product easily replaced the old door, works well with the unlocking mechanisms of the car, and generally I am satisfied with the product. Lots of YT videos to help, getting the screws out of the lock mechanism was the hardest part for me.CONS - the vertical bar that slid into the door, the one you'll have to transfer over to the new actuator, is held in by a small nylon piece that is shaped differently than the original. In fumbling with the actuator to get it into place, the whole bar fell off and lodged itself at the bottom of my door (due to the nyloon piece not holding it on properly). After fishing the bar out and re-attaching it, I was more careful the second time installing it and have had no issues in the weeks since. Small CON not worth taking off a star, just use caution.PROS - it works; no more sounds; easy to replace

Perfect for for my 2009 Honda CR-V LX. No problems with installation or functionality! It's been a few months since I installed and it's still working properly

Took me 3 hours to install not because of the actuator but it was well worth it. Its cheap and it works well.

Bought this to replace the front pass. door actuator in a 2007 CR-V that would re-lock itself after being unlocked. This is not hard to remove and replace if you have some basic tools and skills and a YT video to guide you. It didn't come with instructions and you do have to transfer the control cables from the old one to the new one, which is no big deal. It works fine and solved the problem.

Pulled the failed OEM unit out of the door and put this unit in.First week in no fuss or issue.Note the window track will be in your way during install. Be ready to do a little dance to get the old one out and the new one in. Otherwise very straight forward instal.

These are aftermarket parts, they are cheap. Replacing actuators are fairly easy.Before mounting three screws around the latch, pls only mount the screw on the door panel side at beginning. pls open the door and close the door for several times, the first-time of closing door is not smooth, it would be very smooth for the third time, then mount the three screws around the latch. Adjustment to the position of actuator is very slight but it really can promote user's experience.
