Replaced the OEM original in my 2001 Silverado 1500. This one is an easy replacement under the dash. Noise level is good, although it is a little louder than the original OEM. It does the job to get my heater and AC working again at a good price.

Bought this less than a month ago for my 2001 Silverado, to replace OEM one that finally died. Comparing the two, it was obvious that this one was way cheaper in construction. But, for the price, as long as it works, I'm good. Note, I replaced the motor resistor also with AC Delco one. Fan lasted less than a month, with less than 2.5 hrs on it. I smelled a burning plastic smell and it died shortly after. Would not come back on. After setting overnight, I pulled it out and turned it on, and it worked. It being a PITA to install and being unreliable, ordered one made in Canada, not China! Save your $$, spend to extra $$.

Honestly, it took longer to get the old one out than it took to get this one in. Works perfectly.But remember to check your fuses! Turns out my old blower motor also worked perfectly.

Easy plug and play, costs a bit more then the cheaper brands which I tried but they spin unevenly and don’t work, this one works like the original gym part
