Dropped right in, working great for maybe 2 weeks, then sprung a leak. Tore dash back apart evidence of leaking around the swivel crimps. During disassembly it popped out of the unit.

I did not install the hard way, so i trimmed the pipe and installed the "new" way this core slid right in and is performing better than the original!. The heater is so hot now we have to roll a window down to get some cool air.

I'm not super happy with the heater core. Just unboxed and nothing to hold it stationary during transport. As a jeep mechanic anyone knows these must be kept stable to prevent damage to the pipes coming from the core itself. On side was decently assembled, the other side only had 1 crimp and the tube flopped around very badly. I was able to tap down the edge to secure the pipe but sure it's going to maintain. So far it was holding with no leaks but would have had I not known what to check. I do not recommend this product for anyone expecting it to be right out of the box. Go to a parts store and get it there in hopes it was correctly assembled.

How do I get this replaced under warranty as it leaks. Paid mechanic to install and would like your warranty to pay to have a new one installed.If you are doing the hack job on your own be prepared to do it again. This thing failed after 2 weeks and there is no way to get into contact with regards to the 1 year warranty.

Il y avait une fuite a la base d'un tuyau... Je conseille de vérifier l'étanchéité du radiateur avant l'installation. Par contre, le retour à été facile. Merci

a lot of time wasted installing this product and it leaks bought in december and just installed it in february so cannot return beware garbage
