Straight forward test kit with all essentials. Ammonia test: dip it in for 30 1 second dips, read immediately. All other tests: dip it for 2 seconds don’t shake excess, read all but Nitrites/Nitrates in 15 seconds, read after 30 seconds for Nitrites/Nitrates. Even comes with laminated color chart, and temperature sticker for your tank. Great value, easy to read. Make sure to test before water changes- not just after. If your levels are off and you need help adjusting- I suggest taking photos of the dipstick soon after the test to take to local aquatic supply store. I would not be able to keep my fish tank properly maintained with this product. So easy to read, the colors match sticks to bottle.

These strips are much quicker and cheaper than buying an API Master Test kit. I love the convenience and time savings when testing my aquarium waters. It's good for those days when you just need a "snapshot" of those nitrate and nitrite levels.Of course, the strips aren't extremely accurate, not to the level of the liquid tests. Although you can supposedly get all the squares on the strips to show final results in two seconds, I find that the Nitrite and Nitrate for instance, lag several seconds to one minute before their colors have emerged fully. OTOH, if you wait too long the colors on many of these fade and distort. I'm never certain if the KH and GH readings are telling me the right results at two seconds or at the 1 minute mark. These colors do distort a lot in that time.I look at these test strips as handy indicators if my nitrite or nitrate levels have stayed within acceptable levels, but I can always check it against those liquid tests from my kit if there's an unexpected spike.

I was having problems with another test strip staying blue no matter what I did, another test strip was too negative to reflect what I was getting on my nitrites and nitrates. This test strips has been the most accurate and follows what I see happening in the nitrogen cycle.So glad I got them. I have the 7 in one as well and it works well.

I have used every kind of water test, and I'm ordering this one for the third time. I like the ease of use of these test strips. I keep multiple aquariums and test water every 2 weeks in all of them. I like that these strips show Chlorine warnings. Lately, the Chlorine has been an issue with my aquariums after water changes. My fish are safe, thanks to these strips.

The stars are for customer service.The product itself was defective in some way (test strips are sensitive and do expire)and I am in discussion with the seller to resolve. I will update further as warranted.

Sometimes these seem reliable, but pads do fall off at times. Convenient and a must have but there are other brands to try.

it does really help me for my aquarium, make sure you change your water every week for about 30% it will make your fish happy too 😊

Excellent Product. Easy to use and very quick result (2 seconds) compared to other typical products to keep check of aquarium water parameters. Even came with a spare refill pack of test strips.Have used other product type to monitor my 4 foot aquarium water, but this is so much easier than using 6 test tubes and counting drops from test bottles. Highly recommended product
