I like the easiness to install. I used the same pole I had, easy to install however, I didn’t have the right size for the bolts so, I had to go the hardware store. Once I had them, the rest of the installation ran smothered.

Great mailbox. Very well made and very sturdy. I like that the door stays shut very well. Other mailboxes I've had do not stay shut and I would often go to get my mail and find the door open and wet mail. That doesn't happen with this one.

Typical adhesive address numbers will not stick to this mailbox. I bought adhesive numbers sets from 2 different vendors, both highly rated. I put my address on a mailbox in my home. where both the mailbox and numbers were at room temperature. Both sets of numbers curled off within a couple of days. This mailbox paint is not smooth - it has a slightly rough surface so maybe that is the fatal flaw.And, when I went to return to Amazon, I was not given a full refund. My refund was 16% less than the purchase price. Plus you have to box it up.

Box from manufacturer was damaged and appears to have been a returned item that was shipped to me as “new.†Definitely not new. Powder coating on handle pull is chipped and will likely worsen.
