About this item

  • Connects 8mm wide white LED tape lighting requiring two wire connections, not for RGB LED tape lighting
  • Includes an 8 in. power lead between two connectors and is perfect for extending LED strips around corners or, when cut in half, to create two power leads for linking and extending 12-volt power wires to LED tape lighting in another area.
  • Easy to use, no soldering, tight, secure connections. Handles higher amperage, will not fail at higher wattages
  • Unique Armacost Lighting design, works on either end of LED strips
  • UL listed multiple-conductor wire, thermoplastic insulation rated for 80C, 300 Volt

Armacost Lighting SureLock White LED Tape Light Wire Lead Connectors allow you to easily connect RibbonFlex Pro White LED tape light strips together or connect LED strips to low voltage 12-volt power wires. Easy to use, no soldering, tight, secure connections.

Work well with Armacost LED strip lightsI cut the wire in half to use to connect to wire run from drivers.

I love these connectors but had issues with my first attempt. You do need to push the one strip in all the way and the second goes in until the strips touch. I had to lightly bend the one corner so the longer strip went under the other. Removing the double sided tape for the strip helped them slide in. The end result is a clean install with no apparent break in the lights when lite.

These work very well. No connection issues like cheaper brands give you. If you want an easy headache free installation get these and the armacost led strip. Would buy again.

These worked really well for building my under cabinet lighting. The only problem I run into is that the shielding on my wire was too thick to fit into the connectors. Thankfully the easy fix for this was to drill a larger hole in the terminals and then the connector works perfectly.

I use this to connect my Armacost lighting on some corners and it works great. Easy to pop open the connecters and secure strip in them. The trick with these though is the lengths have to be near perfect as the connector is a set size.

There must be an issue in their quality control. I read other reviews that ranted about these not working but just dismissed as user error. But I can concur, they don’t work. The crimped connection at the base of the plug seems to may be crushed and the wire itself is not making good connection with the metal tabs. The insulation is partially pressed into the crimp which probably the reason there is no connection. You cannot repair with solder because the tabs are manufactured into the clip and the plastic will melt from the iron tip.

Armacost makes pretty good lighting solutions but they should probably keep it at that and not get into the connector game. These things are pretty bad, sometimes they work and sometimes they don’t. I guess they can be reusable but once to use pliers to clip on they are a PAIN to take off. Also it seems like the clips sometimes fully puncture the connection on the copper strip and if it does that then they won’t work reliably, you’ll have to tweak the wire to get it to work or completely replace the strip. I personally do this professionally and after getting a call they stopped working I knew it was the connectors. I’ve stopped using these altogether and started soldering them to assure myself I don’t get anymore calls about these connectors failing.

I ordered everything I thought I would need to install the Armacost LED strip lights, including a nice soldering iron. THEN later I tripped over these connectors ... Holy Moly!! They are the cat's meow!!I only used the soldering iron for splicing a couple wires together. But for connecting the wires to the LED strips YOU want these connectors, seriously you want to buy them. If the wires are a tish snug to slide in, wet the plastic insulation on the wire they will slide right into the connector.
