Astro Tools does it again. I own a number of Astro products and none of them have let me down. These hose picks make it very easy to disconnect stubborn radiator hoses. They work exactly as they should, and are high quality. They are a great value! Would definitely recommend. A great addition to my home garage tool set arsenal!

These hooks have been so useful in helping to remove stuck-on radiator hoses in cars, especially in tight locations. Neither the hose nor the fitting underneath have been damaged. They are very sturdy with cushioned grip handles and thick chrome plating. I expect that they will last a long time.Due to the thickness of the metal, they do not work as well on smaller hoses such as fuel lines and transmission cooler hoses, but those are not as difficult to remove as the radiator and heater hoses. Definitely a worthwhile addition to the tool box!

These work well for their intended purpose. They were only about ten bucks, so as long as you're not expecting tool truck quality, you could do worse than these hose picks. They make a good starter set if you don't have any, and makes removing hoses much easier that the old screwdriver prying method.

These are not a cheap product. I was reluctant to purchase but finally decided to. The handles are solid and fit my big hands nicely. The shafts are made of strong material. I’d be very surprised if I’d ever bend one. Good tool for the Box.

I needed to replace an emissions part in my Ford Fusion that the dealer wanted $300+ to replace. I purchased the part for $65 and these tools. The part had 4 modern hose connects with a 'snap blade' that locks them in. Getting the blades pulled would have been next to impossible with these tools. The alternatives was removing the alternator and other parts that were interfering with access. An hour and half later the repair was complete, working great. These tools are great quality, very happy to add them to my automotive tools. You can use them for all sorts of hose, clamp and even electrical connections. Wished I had purchased them years ago!

If you have ever tried removing hoses from connectors after they have been in place for many years, you'll often find they are quite stubborn to remove. That's where these hose removal hook really shine as you simply slip whichever one fits in your situation under the hose and run it around the inside of the hose and usually within seconds whatever bond was there is broken allowing you to easily slip the hose off the connection. I've used my set countless times on stubborn hose connections and they have never let me down and even sometimes offer easier ways to get stubborn electrical connectors free if you're careful. Plus these are far less expensive than other options on the market and with those you often only get 1 style for the price. In short, if you ever deal with stubborn hose connections, do yourself a favor a buy a set of these, for the price you can't go wrong and they will certainly help you get those hoses off without much of a fuss.
