I had a cork style before this that didn't leak a drop. When I changed the fluid and filter and put it back on, even before the fluid was put back in, i could see it leaking. I spend over $100 on some good fluid and didn't want to take the chance, so I​ ordered this. I sure am glad I did!!! This thing is nice and thick and seals on both sides and re-usable! Very well built piece and didn't come wadded up in a box. Its placed in the box and shipped just as the picture! Great product!

I've been through a couple filter kits for my '96 K2500 with 4L80E trans. None of the kits ever include a gasket that is thick enough. For my pan this causes rubbing inside the pan with the filter due to tight clearance. I have been reusing the OEM sandwich gasket but needed a replacement. I was concerned this would not be thick enough but it fits great. Nice fit and no leak the first time through. Thumbs up.

The gasket was exactly as described. The best part is that it doesn't leak thanks to a steel inner structure, steel lined bolt holes and a bead around the entire center of the gasket that more or less acts like an o-ring. Very pleased with this gasket. No additional silicone is required with this gasket. Install it clean & dry and you won't have any leaks.Highly recommend it over any fiber, rubber or cork gasket.

Money well spent, will save you time and headaches in the long run. I changed the transmission filter on my GMC 2001, 2500 HD the filter that i bought came with a regular cork gasket which will work fine but i didn't want to take a chance. I wanted to have a peace of mind, this one is exactly the same like the oem that i took off.

Not good...spent many hours chasing the transmission leak. Went from checking the wiring harness o ring to the shift linkage o ring to permatex the pan bolts and nothing was leaking or fixed the problem.Removed the pan and noticed oil on both sides of the o ring was wet top and bottom. Checked my old AC Delco original gasket and the o ring is much taller... So the gasket is junk and my fault for trying to save some money...Go buy an original AC Delco gasket not this China Junk.

Looks just like the origional oem gasket did on my 2005 gmc 2500 hd pickup truck. Fit the 4L80E transmission perfect, no leaks, fast shipping zero complaints I would buy again!

This gasket is 17 bolt. It is NOT compatible with the 4L60e transmission on a 1999Tahoe, which uses a 16 bolt.

This is what you need to stop the pan gasket leak on your 4L80E. Thick hard plastic gasket with an embedded o-ring on each side just like the factory part, but half the price. Those thin rubber or cork gaskets that come in the filter kits are junk, this is reusable and does not leak like those cheap gaskets do.
