Stacking the sides with even amounts of cards, the machine doesn't alternate accurately and many cards, sometimes half the deck is left and that means 1/2 the deck is not really being shuffled. It is also hard to retrieve the cards after shuffling. Some get stuck in the machine and you have to pull hard to get it out. The completed shuffled cards are not stacked well. I would expect more for a regular price of $179. I paid $139, but not worth it if it can't shuffle accurately.Update: if you use new plastic coated playing cards, it works great. I bought it for playing 5 Crowns, the plastic coating is not very good and the cards are just a bit shorter that standard playing cards. I have taped a couple of matchbooks at the edge where the cards, go for shuffling. That way, they don't slide around as much and get jammed. It works quite well now. I wish they would have made it for smaller cards, but this works ok. There is an option for larger cards, the top piece slides out, but the smallest is not small enough.

A bit pricey, but so much fun! I have some of the cheaper card shufflers and they are slower to shuffle and don't seem to do as good a job. This one does a great job - I wish there were a way it could then reshuffle on its own several times - once through isn't really well mixed and it feels odd to manually cut and refeed. However, that's my only complaint. The shuffling itself is fast and terrific. The dealing function is awesome. It can quickly spin around and deal cards to each player. It has a number of different configurations - it knows some specific games and deals the right card counts for them. It also has several remote control buttons. When you click one, it turns towards you and deals a card. This is perfect for games where single cards are later dealt on demand. Note that it doesn't sense the button's location - it presumes that buttons 1 to 4 are even spaced around it. There are a ton of configurable options - like how many players you have or how far to throw a card. Definitely recommend if you play a lot of cards!

I love that you can program the number of players and cards per hand, making it easy to switch between games like Texas Hold'em and UNO. I also like the wireless remote buttons; they really make dealing with players at another part of the table so much easier, and no one has to stand up to reach for cards.So far, the battery has lasted a long time, and we have used it for a few game nights before we have had to recharge it. The small size makes it so easy to bring to someone's house. It is better than shuffling and dealing yourself, which gets tiresome with the number of people in a group.

Was curious to see if this works. The loser always shuffles and deals the next round, but this is helpful to the loser. This machine truly randomizes shuffling and is efficient in doing so. Easy calibration. No issues with sticking or malfunctions. Gentle press for the button, and the little dealer spins and does exactly what it was programmed to do. Recommend!

This thing made card night easier and more fun. I'm terrible at shuffling and end up bending cards routinely. This was easy to charge up, sync and start shuffling and dealing cards. I didn't run into any issues with either process in our testing during card night. We played with several different types of cards from poker set of standard cards, to board game cards and this did a good job throughout. Very cool device that goes beyond my old automatic card shuffler that I was impressed with prior to having one that could also deal.

Wow, this is much faster than I expected. It can shuffle the cards and deal out up to six hands in no time. It's fun to watch and the grandkids love using it for Uno.
