Purchased this because it can be hard for young kids and older adults to shuffle cards. Works great and everyone loves using it.

We play a fun card game, Five Crowns, which is a double deck of five suits from 3 to King plus 5 Jokers...which according to my calculations is 115 cards. My husband won't shuffle all those cards, so I end up doubling up on the shuffling. By the end of the game, my thumbs were worn out. In the distant past, we had a battery-operated shuffler, so I took to Amazon for a replacement. I did order a shuffler that was battery powered, but it was broken during shipping, so back to the drawing board. When I saw the Premium Manual Card Shuffler 2 Deck With Hand Crank, I was intrigued. A hand crank. No need for batteries. Sounded great, so I ordered it.The handle is initially found tucked into the bottom of the shuffler and is easily inserted into the back of the shuffler. It worked the same way that a battery-powered one works, except *you* have the power. It's fun to crank fast or crank slow--whatever suits your fancy. The shuffler handles the 115 cards with ease and it makes the shuffling process so much easier (and fun).A couple of cautions: When we used an older deck, the shuffler had a problem grabbing the cards. I posited that this was due to the age of the cards. They weren't as flat and slick as a new deck. Since we love Five Crowns so much, we had a spare deck that had been used less, but not brand new. This deck sailed through the shuffler with no problem. I can't blame the shuffler for that. The shuffler will likely prevent new decks from getting bent as they would from manual shuffling. Second, my sister is sensitive to loud noises and while I wouldn't call the shuffler "loud," it does create a moderate level of sound that tended to make people raise their voices trying to talk over the shuffler, which irritated my sister. Solution: no talking while shuffling. Again, the sound didn't bother anyone else, but I recognize that some people are more sensitive to noise. This shuffler will get lots of use at our house.

It works great. I can’t shuffle cards because of arthritic hands so it is a godsend for me.

A great gift for my seven year old grandchild who loves playing UNO but just can’t make his hands work to shuffle. It requires no batteries and is easy to use

I love the automatic card shufflers, unfortunately, they break easily and don't last. So, I bought this manual card shuffler. So far, so good. It's pretty easy to use plus its not as loud as the electric card shufflers.I'll update this review if its breaks as easy as the electric ones.

I have had other card shufflers. But this is the first hand crank one. I have always tried the battery operated ones in the past. This cards shuffler is quiet, super easy to use, and shuffles perfectly. In fact it is so easy to use that my 8 year old special needs daughter can shuffle the uno deck. So happy with this purchase. Also, like the Vegas logo on the top.

Doesn't work well. The cards don't completely shuffle. I threw it out.
