This coffee grinder is the best bang for your buck by far. I had a previous grinder for 4 years. I did not realize how noisy and inefficient it has become. Within minutes the grinder was assembled and I was up and running. The build quality is what you would expect, and it functions at a high level providing tons of opportunities for tweaking grind size for amateur baristas! I like the funnel design and the coffee chamber is larger then most making it easier to grind more coffee at a time. The only drawback is it is much larger than my previous grinder so had to make some space for storage. Overall I am very pleased and would highly recommend this grinder to anyone looking to upgrade their coffee bean experience!

This automatic electric burr grinder is a fantastic addition to any home or office setup. With 35 precise grind settings, it delivers the perfect consistency for drip coffee, espresso, pour-over, and cold brew. Whether you're making a single cup or brewing for a group, the 2-12 cup dose selection ensures the right amount every time. The one-touch operation makes it incredibly easy to use, while the burr grinding mechanism preserves the rich aroma and flavor of coffee beans. It's durable, efficient, and quieter than many other grinders. If you're serious about coffee, this is a game-changer for your morning routine

Bottom line - would recommend, great value.I have been using a Baratza encore burr grinder for many years. I have been pleased with that grinder, but liked the idea of having a portafilter adapter. The grinder arrived and I was pleased with the quality. The materials, while mostly plastic, feel comparable to the Baratza, which is a grinder that is almost 3x the cost of this product. The burr works really well and is easy to adjust grinder size. This grinder is actually significantly quicker and quieter than my old grinder. Maintenance cleaning is also straightforward and almost identical to what I do with my old grinder. While I didn't do any sort of 'scientific' test for grind size and consistency, it appears to be comparable to my old grinder...not 100% consistent grind size, but pretty good.So why 4 stars instead of 5? Mainly it is for a few 'minor issues. First issue is that when using this on a very fine grind, such as for espresso, it is almost impossible to tap all the grinds down. While I have gotten better, there is still some waste which ultimately impacts my ability to precisely dose my grinds for my espresso (which can result in a not ideal pull). I have found that after it is done grinding, rotate the hopper back and forth (from the #2 setting to above a 20) a few times, then lean the unit slightly forward and tap the side a few times. This has helped get most of the grinds down...but not perfect...and dont tap too hard or your portafilter can dislodge from the holder. For my Baratza, a few taps on the side was all that was needed to get all the grinds down to the container. Second issue I have is with the container. First of all, the top simply rests on passively...it does not snap or screw on. If you grind a lot at once and plan to store it in this, it may not keep it fresh or can easily spill out if knocked over accidentally. Additionally, since I grind only for what I am about to use, it is a bit of a pain to pour the grinds from the container into tue smaller diameter opening of my aeropress. Since the container is round, there is no natural corner to funnel the grinds to when pouring them into the aeropress (as I can do with the bin of my old grinder). As a result, I have spilled some grinds on the counter more than a few times.Three things to note, but that dont reduce stars in my opinion...1 - The dose selector isn't very accurate (at least for me). I do not store my beans in this, but rather measure my beans for each grind. For a double shot (18.3 grams of beans), it shuts off just before all the beans are ground. For a similar amount of beans at a courser grind (when I'm going to brew with my aeropress or chemex) the beans are fully ground well before it shuts off automatically.2- With regards to the grind selector, I wish the hash marks were towards the top of the neck and adjacent to the indicator arrow. I ended up using a silver sharpie to mark my exact setting for my expressos just to be sure I have it exactly where I want the grind (see photo).3 - while the motor has a lot of power, you can clearly hear some strain while grinding and it seems like there is a definite drop in RPMs while it is grinding vs when running with no beans. Hopefully this does not indicate too much strain that will cause the motor to burn out early...but time will tell. For now I put this in this section of my review (things to note, but not worth a reduced rating). If it becomes and issue then I will update my review.Overall, I am very happy with this grinder. I have been using it for the past month and I feel it is a great value for what you get. Due to the faster and quieter grinding, I have actually boxed up my old Baratza and now exclusively use this. Would definitely recommend, especially to those looking to freshly grind your own beans without having to spend a lot for a conical burr grinder.

Perfect for French press coffee beans! I wanted to upgrade my grinder. Prior I was using a small one and I needed something with greater capacity. This has been perfect for me to grind my course French press beans. It’s easy to use and the directions were clear and easy to follow. It’s a great quality product. Would recommend!

We started using this coffee grinder right away, and it’s been surprisingly good for the price. The setup was quick, and adjusting the grind settings is simple. It delivers consistent results whether I’m making espresso or a coarser grind for pour-over. The quality of the coffee is impressive, especially considering how affordable this machine is. One thing I wish it had was a single-cup option, as the lowest setting still grinds more than I need sometimes. Despite that, it’s been reliable, easy to clean, and does exactly what we need without spending a fortune on a name brand coffee maker.

Have been using a smaller grinder for a while and needed an upgrade. This is perfect in that not only does it store more beans and grinds perfectly, but also has the holder for the espresso machine cup thing. Recommended!

I bought this coffee grinder to replace the broken on in my office. It works well so far. My coworkers and I can have many options to choose what setting we like. Hope this will last longer than last one.
