Easy to use , compressor installed , Blows great volume of smoke . Old one I had needed air line hook up., so convenient . A lot of smoke machines in this price range , I just picked and it is a winner !

What a great tool this thing is, I was able to easily find and diagnose my leaking turbo housing and get it fixed without further issue. Before I was having all kinds of issues trying to hunt down and diagnose the issue with my car, this made the fix a breeze and I'm so grateful to have got this. Initially I was intimidated by what I thought would be a confusing process to get this machine running but it was actually very easy. Just plug up one of the evap or air hoses and turn the machine on and set the amount of smoke you want and that's it. The connection to 12v is also nice so I don't have to run an extension cord out to my car in the apartment parking lot. The machine feels well built too, with its robust metal construction. All in all this has been an amazing little machine that has made my life tremendously easier when it comes to fixing my own car. I would definitely recommend anyone who does their own work to invest in one of these machines to save yourself the headache of hunting down leaks.

I’ve been using this smoke machine for diagnosing vacuum leaks, and so far, it’s been performing well. The built-in air pump is a nice which completely eliminates the need for an external compressor, and the adjustable pressure gauge makes it easy to control the output. It produces a steady flow of smoke, which has been helpful for identifying leaks in EVAP and other systems. The build quality feels decent, though not overly rugged. Overall, it’s been a useful tool for my needs, and we’ll see how it holds up over time with regular use.

This smoke generator works great for almost any type of piped system. Since it has a built in air pump you don't have to drag an air hose to your workstation to use it. It runs off of the battery of the vehicle you're working on so you will not need an extension cord to power it. It's cheap enough that it will save some money and headaches when searching for air leaks.

This is a solid machine. It delivers reliable performance and has worked flawlessly so far. It is easy to use and I had it up in running in no time without even using the manual. Very straightforward, particularly if you have used similar machines. I have used less expensive units and let me tell you, you get what you pay for. The quality difference is apparent, right out of the box.

One of the more difficult things to diagnose in a car is vacuum leaks. Rubber and plastic gets old and they both can crack without any obvious indication as to where the leak is, exactly. And in modern cars where maintaining a vacuum is essential to controlling polluting emissions, you need a device like this. The idea is you pump smoke into the evap system (which is supposed to be closed, i.e. not leaking anywhere) and by observing where the smoke emerges you can identify the exact spot (or spots) where the system is leaking. This machine is easy to use and does the job. Highly recommended.

I've use this Evap pump 4 times now and it is AMAZING! Every Mechanic should have one of these in their tool set. It allowed me to find large and very small emissions leaks very quickly. As a mechanic this tool is something that makes me money and time is definitely money. This saves so much time being able to determine where leaks are within seconds of turning it on.. Having a built-in air pump I'm also able to adjust how much air I can supply to a system to detect any bad sensors that are on it as well. I've run into a couple bad diaphragms in sensors and this allowed me to see which ones they were immediately along with my scanner.
