Slice avocado in half lengthwise.
Place loop end around pit and remove.
Position slice over large end of avocado half, insert fruit and pull towards you, slicing through and scooping fruit.
Avocado slices are now ready to use and enjoy.

Very easy to use and works exactly as expected. Slices and removes the pit easily. Well made with an appropriate sized handle. Perfect and better replacement for the one my husband lost which I am still pondering how that happened.Offered at a good price. Would recommend.

This thing works like a dream...but only on certain avocado ripeness. I work in a restaurant and we didn't have any fast ways of prepping avocados, so I bought this guy to help.Well... I found that it only works properly on perfect avocados. What I mean is, if the avocado is really soft, forget it. If its hard, good luck getting it to work without breaking it...I almost did.I found that if its the perfect ripeness, not too soft, not to hard, perfect firmness, this thing works really well. It will nearly squish the avocado if its soft, and wont come out nice and clean. As for hard ones...if it didn't have the wires, you could use it as a scooper to get it out of the skin easily.As for the pit remover...didn't even bother using it.

This is the only avocado slicer I've found that has the perfect thickness when using the slicer. Other slicers made the avocado slices too thick and would leave a decent amount of avocado left on the skin. This slicer cleans all the avocado of the skin. The thin metal wires is what cuts the avocado so clean but is also it's weakness. The wires will snap if used too often when the avocado is under riped. The head of the avocado slicer will sometimes come loose and off. I've had to glue it back multiple times. With all that said, I've bought this slice 5 times already, to replace the broken ones. However, despite it's lack of durability, it's the best avocado slicer I've ever used.

I purchased two of the Avocado Slicer, Avocado Pit Remover Cutter/Peeler for my restaurant, and I'mreally glad I did. It removes the pit very quickly and it cuts with a streamline precision. It is very well madeand a great purchase.

Unfortunately I’m not impressed.Looks great, feels great, edges are so sharp it grabs the inside of the peal and gets hung up inside the avacado. Ridiculous. Far more difficult to use than it should be, and I haven’t even tried it on an avocado that wasn’t ripe yet.

This is the second one I have purchased... had the last one for years. I liked it so much I wore it out and was searching in the local kitchen shops for another. The ones that they had do not work as well as this one. I'm glad Amazon now sells them. I highly recommend it. It is also a great gift for a foodie if they don't already have one.

I used this maybe once a week, handwash everytime and now it has fallen apart. I don't know if I got a defective one but unfortunately I have to buy a new one as this one no longer works properly
