The SCX6 Jeep JLU Wrangler 4WD takes Axial "scaling" to the next level. Based on the proven SCX10 III, the SCX6 chassis might be considered its big brother. It's engineered for extreme durability and performance with AR90 axles. For optimal handling, the chassis has a three-link Panhard front and four-link rear suspension setup. The transmission offers high and low gears out of the box, with a Spektrum S614 Metal-Gear Servo included and installed for the two-speed linkage.
While the 1/6 scale size allows more room for impressive detail, the SCX6 Jeep JLU Wrangler 4WD still fits conveniently into the trunk of your car — and most rock gardens and hiking trails provide plenty of exciting challenges to overcome. As you navigate the trails, you'll admire how well the Jeep JLU Wrangler body reproduces its full-size counterpart. Even the most demanding Jeep enthusiasts will appreciate the accuracy of the details molded throughout. When the sun goes down, LED headlights and taillights add even more realism.
Massive, 7" tall BFGoodrich KM3 tires provide excellent grip and ground clearance for dirt, rocks, and all other off-road surfaces. They're mounted on licensed Black Rhino Primm injection-molded, 3-piece beadlock wheels so that the tires can be removed and replaced easily without gluing. Forest, desert, lake, mountains...the SCX6 Jeep JLU Wrangler 4WD is ready to go anywhere.
With the included Spektrum DX3 radio, you'll enjoy the superior range, response, and interference resistance of exclusive DSMR technology. Based on the proven SCX10 III layout, the 1/6 scale SCX6 takes durability, functionality, and performance to the next level with features that include a steel chassis, 4-wheel drivetrain, multi-link suspension, AR90 axles, oil-filled shocks, and more.
TWO-SPEED METAL GEAR TRANSMISSION
Out of the box, the Axial SCX6 Jeep JLU Wrangler 4WD RTR is configured for two speeds with high and low gears. A Spektrum S614 Metal-Gear Servo is included for the two-speed linkage.

SPEKTRUM S905 STEERING SERVO
Included and installed, the waterproof Spektrum S905 Large-Scale Metal-Gear Servo produces impressive torque (537.72 oz-in at 6V, 555.50 oz-in at 7V) for responsive, dependable steering control. The chassis will also accept larger 1/5 scale servos, if desired, with the included adapter.
BFGOODRICH KM3 TIRES

MULTIPLE BATTERY MOUNTING LOCATIONS

I’m an RC enthusiast and I also have a green jeep. Had to add this one to my collection. It is big! Parts are what you would expect from axial. Not sure if it’s crawling ability yet. Does get up and go. Good brand. Having fun with it so far.

All I can say is it it fun. I got the spectrum batteries so the remote let’s you know how much battery is left. This thing has some weight to it so knowing your battery limit helps.Very nice looking jeep. Body is a little difficult getting on correctly but you get use to it.I have some 1/10 Crawlers and this one’s makes the others look like kids toys.

It's cool of course, it a giant rock crawler. Already have the honcho, wanted a second 6th scale. Waited a week, was super stoked. Opened the box and found a gray one instead of the green one I wanted, thanks Amazon fulfilment. Guess I'll just keep it since I don't want to wait another week to get the right color... But anyhow, these things are sick!! If you've been thinking about getting one and can afford it, get it! It's like driving a real rig, but much smaller!! And cheaper to fix if you break down!!

For 1100, you'd expect it to be ready to go anywhere virtual. I thought that, after buying bigger batteries straps to make it work with my battery, I got it running. I was going to run for about an hour or so, the first half was great then it stopped driving, still turned but no driving. I may be a novice, but 1100 bucks should mean I shouldn't have to fix something on the very first run. Very disappointing and sending back.

Getting the body off and on the chassis is a major hassle. I bought the scx10iii wrangler as my very first rc car. Within a week I bought the gladiator, and by the end of the month I pulled the trigger on the scx6. I absolutely love all 3.

When I first tried mine the transmission was clicking very loud. Videos of other SCX6s online did not sound like mine did. I was going to send it back to Amazon but decided to contact Horizon Hobby first (distributor). They asked me to go ahead and open up the transmission had see how much grease was in it. I found it was under greased and they had me re-grease it. I also found the set screw that holds the pinion gear to the motor was loose and was sliding back and forth on the motor shaft. It had no loctite on it. After I put it back together it still made noise but not as bad. I have run one 5200 mah pack through it now and the noise is getting better as the transmission wears in. It has a two year warranty so if it does pack in this was all documented. Otherwise this thing is a beast, I love it! I don't even want to take my 1/10th crawlers out now as all I want to do is run this. It is unbelievable how well this can crawl up stuff for the size and weight of it.
