I was initially drawn to these baby sock shoes because of their adorable design and the promise of lightweight, breathable comfort for my little one. The variety of styles and colors available is definitely a plus, and they certainly look the part of perfect first walkers.The material is soft and flexible, which I appreciated for my baby's developing feet. They seem comfortable to wear indoors and the breathable fabric is great for preventing sweaty little feet.However, the biggest issue, and the reason for the lowered rating, is that these shoes come off way too easily. Despite the elastic around the ankle, my baby managed to kick them off within minutes, whether they were crawling, standing, or trying to take a few steps. This frequent removal was frustrating and almost defeats the purpose of a "walking shoe."
