I was getting a lower back ache even sleeping on my side. I saw a suggestion on-line to try a knee pillow, so I started looking for one on Amazon. I liked that this bolster could be used between the knees for side sleeping and also behind the legs while on your back. I was so surprised and happy with the immediate relief using this bolster for both of those methods. The pillow is very supportive and the cover is very soft. I did check the zipper, like one other review mentioned, and it worked fine. I also managed to tuck the zipper pull into the end of the fabric so the pull wouldn't flap around. It would be nice if they didn't add that sort of stiff label, but it's not usually an issue. If you only needed a pillow for between your knees, I'd suggest finding something smaller, but I like the multiple uses of this. I've gotten pretty good at moving the bolster around to my various sleeping positions. I tend to let the majority stick out in front of my knees when using on my side, because I have cats that like to sleep behind my knees and this will get in the way if you have it poking out behind you. I'll be curious to see how this works during winter. Will I feel like it props up the covers too much and lets cool air in? Hopefully not. It was difficult deciding on what size to get, so I chose Medium since I'm not super small - nor overly large/tall. Most reviews showed people ordered Medium. I feel it was the right choice for me.

This bolster is one of several items I tried to alleviate knee pain that I sometimes experience while lying in bed at night. Unfortunately, this one only alleviated the pain a little bit, but I don't think that's any fault of the product. I think it's just that we all have to experiment and find, by trial and error, the things that work for us, and in my case that turned out to be a slightly taller pillow.But if this is a good height for you, there are other positives to the pillow. It hits the sweet spot between being soft enough for comfort but firm enough to hold its shape. The cover is very soft, though a little warm for my taste -- but I live in a very hot environment, so those in more moderate or colder climates may well like this.Although I no longer use it at night, I often use it on my sofa for support while meditating or lounging, and it's great for that. In fact, I'm impressed at how it's holding it's firmness and shape even after the way I've been using it for the last seven months.It's hard to know if something like this will work for you without actually testing it, and then you risk the hassle of having to return it if it doesn't suit you. If possible, I'd suggest trying something else of about the same height (like maybe a rolled towel or blanket) to see how that feels. It wouldn't be a perfect match, but it might give you some more confidence going into this purchase.

Lets me lie on my side, but halfway on my back, so there's not so much pressure on the down shoulder.Used to use a pillow but this is firmer and smaller so it works better. Wish I could find a pillowcase for it is the only downside.

Excellent pillow for true back pain relief. I have 2 herniated discs in my lower back and hip issues from a car accident a few years ago and got this pillow in summer 2019 when i couldn't take the pain any longer while sleeping on our old memory foam bed. It took a day or so to come to true size but it's never lost the shape since. Its firm enough to hold the supportive curve shape you need while still squishy enough to feel comfy. We've purchased a new purple mattress last summer so I no longer need it as much but my fiancé uses it constantly to prop up his pillow watching tv or cuddle in his sleep lol.It's worth the buy for sure. I just pulled it up to see the dimensions to find a cute pillow case for it & potential get a second when I saw some poor reviews on quality and I couldn't believe it.

I ordered this pillow a couple of years ago and loved it. Super soft but supportive. Now it is so hard. I am so mad that I threw out the packaging and cannot return. Skip this one and maybe spend a little more

I got this to put under my knees to sleep. And it’s perfect for me. I can also put it between my knees and ankles. And sleep well.

This pillow is the perfect height and width for my legs. It’s soft but not too much. Keeps legs cool. Ensure I stay sleeping on my back as prescribed by my physiotherapist. No back strains since started using this 2 years ago.
