This is a perfect underlay for new rugs. Its just the right amount of softness and the rug does not slide around. Was about 2.5 inches wider on two sides which was no problem to cut to size - better than being too small!

I bought a rug for my nursery but the room was already carpeted. So the rug would move and get bunched up. Looking for a solution I found this rug pad. It was affordable, the thickness on it makes it comfortable and it stays almost all the way out. It is true to size so I just added heavy duty Velcro to connect it to the rug and bam, problem solved. It still moves a tiny bit but much more functional and it’s a breeze to vacuum on. Would recommend

This works better than expected. My cat plays on my round fluffy rug all the time and it gets bunched up constantly. This keeps it in place and doesn't move at all. It's not super thick but the rug itself has good padding. Happy with this purchase

ExcellentI have an inexpensive thin cotton rug and was debating about spending $40 on the mat, but I’m glad that I did.There is no chemical smell, it’s thick and soft…wow, I couldn’t be happier with it.I am a very discerning buyer and will return something if it doesn’t work for me, but not this! I’m thrilled with this mat and highly recommend it.
