Got this brooch for a Hobbit Fair event. Originally I considered going with the more established Noble Collection one, but went for this as it's half the price and looks less shiny and more authentic. And it turned out to be a great choice! The brooch has a clasp that holds the pin in place, which made sure my mantle stayed on all day — even through hobbit dances and quests that involved crawling and mock-fighting. So yes, I couldn't be happier with the result and I can highly recommend it for your LOTR-theme events.

Using for Halloween hobbit costume, pin is good and clasps securely but is rather small. Otherwise great.

This was my second purchase of this elven brooch (from a different vendor). The first one I purchased, from another seller, was defectively enamelled so the silver leaf veins didn’t show at all. This one was properly done and looks exactly like the illustration in the advertisement. My only wish is that the pin were slightly larger, but it’s fine as is for costume or everyday use.

I purchased this as a gift and unfortunately had to return it because it is absolutely NOT the item that's pictured in the listing. The item has no silver lining in the leaf, it's just a muddied green leaf shaped pin/necklace. The difference is striking and makes the item I received feel very poorly made/cheap. Returned immediately, will look for a better reproduction elsewhere.
