So far I'm pretty happy with these corner punches. I looked around for quite a while to find punches that would cut a radius corner. These do. They aren't super sharp out of the bag (but then again almost nothing ever is. I was going to make my own cutters, but honestly you simply can't economically do it unless you have a lot of suitable material available. These can be stropped with a little practice and can be made quite serviceable (read below).I don't think I have ever purchased a knife or anything that was "scary sharp" right out of the box. I don't know if this is done on purpose, or for economic reasons. If you are doing leather work GET YOURSELF A STROP! Or make one. Presumably you do leather work so presumably you have leather laying around and probably adhesive too. Glue the smooth side of your leather to a flat slab of wood at least 12 inches long (longer doesn't hurt) x about 3 inches wide. I did this on both sides of the wood so I can use two kinds of compound. Then purchase some strop compound (abrasive compound for stropping). Coat the leather very well with compound and make sure it really gets into the leather. Then look up some videos on how to strop things. You will need this strop for everything you need sharp, bevelers, skivers, head knives, x-acto blades (yes those too), hole punches, corner cutters, even your kitchen knives.

I was hesitant to order based on the reviews being hit or miss. The set I got was sharp out of the box with the bevel on the proper (outer) side of the punch. My only complaint (why I give 4 stars instead of 5) is that they are not true quarter round punches. They are a little less than a 1/4 of a circle so you need to make 2 punches to get a true 90 degree quarter round result. 3 punches to get a full half circle.

Arrived today.Don't know what I expected from Chinese material. Absolutely dull, attempted to strop, still full. Chinese made trash, pot metal. Stupid me for trusting reviews. Returned.

These have a poor finish and a rough ground edge but if you polish them long enough on a strop they work well. Very crude tools but what to you expect for the money?

I was looking at Arc-Shaped Half-Round Cutter Punches long time and found the link from a YouTube video. They are very sharp and cut leather well. I'm a little bit confused with the dimensions. Every puncher has numbers on it 10, 15, or 25 mm but which dimension are they? I mean is it radius or diameter?

This worked as described and was a wonderful addition to my leather working tools. Fast delivery, well made and sharp. They make my projects look a step above cutting with a knife. Thank you for making such a wonderful product.

Good shape but dull with bad grind. A little sharpening and honing required but easily done

Very low quality for the price not sharp and the arc not rounded properly

Yes I sharpened them as I do with all new edge tools. They cut like a knife through hot butter

First of all - these are just what I needed for rounding the corners on leather projects. However, they needed to be cleaned on the inside surface. Not so dirty that they would mark the leather, but dirty nonetheless. A dremel really helps. They were barely sharp enough to use. It didn't take long to get them in good shape - but still. Are they worth the money? Yes, if you don't mind putting in a little bit of effort to set them up.

Speedy delivery and I have used them on 9/10 oz leather. They work just fine.
