I'm short (5' 2") so bought the 9-inch length. They fit so well, comfortable and light weight, landing just above the knee. 4 pockets, 2 have a flap and 2 have zippers. Made with a Lululemon type material, and elastic waist. Can see these will be my go-to shorts for summer and will travel well.

I have many Baleaf products, and these are my favorite. Great woven nylon blend fabric (smooth, tough, stretchy, beathable, cool and light for any season/activity). The perfect waistband that is forgiving, smooth, stretchy with barely-there elastic (as a 50+ I am so over those bumpy stitched-everywhere "elastic" waists that dig in more as the day goes on). Also best arrangement of pockets ever, with a higher zipped vertical pocket at high hip for any phone, over a larger cargo pocket that goes down to the hem. I am happy with 11" in 3X for comfort (5'2", 50" hips, 40" waist) although the 2X would work. They cover knees while standing but not while sitting. I prefer capris or 15" to cover knees, and hope Baleaf will use this design in capri or full lengths in future.

I hike. A lot. I am fairly picky with what I want in a pair of shorts.I like the thick waistband-it’s comfortable. With a draw string, but the sizing was right so I don’t tighten it.The fabric is comfortable (not scratchy) and very fast drying. Not sure of durability, I am aware to not scrape on rocks because I don’t want to get holes in them.I like the zippered pockets, fits my iPhone. Has other non-zippered pockets, I don’t use them, but they’re not in the way.They look nice with a variety of inseam options.Minus one star-the slit on the side leg seems to twist forward as I move my leg to walk. It’s weird. I wish it stayed on the side as I walked. They hang right when I’m standing still. Maybe it’s a me thing, but I noticed it. I would probably still buy them again. I have other Baleaf products and the quality of those influenced this purchase.I purchased a small. 5’4†122 lbs usually wear size 25, athletic build.

A large fit my 5’6â€, 171 lb, 41†hip, 34†waist frame with some room to spare in the gut area. I might try a medium next time for comparison. The material is a feels is different than I’ve felt used in shorts before & I like it. The material is light weight & airy, perfect for 90+ temperatures, much like this brands swimwear which I love too. I really, really LOVE all the pockets with zippers or over flaps. Manufacturers don’t seem to get that women LOVE clothing with pockets!! I do recommend u give these a try.

I was looking for a pair of shorts that would dry quickly that I could put over my bathing suit. These were perfect. Comfortable, true to fit, have pockets to put my keys in and my phone in and very nice looking on!. Highly recommend them. I have some Baleaf scores for golf and they wash well and wear well and this does exactly the same thing! Plus very reasonably priced. Can’t go wrong with them.

The fabric is so soft. The shorts have a super-cute slit to allow room in the legs.

I really like how these shorts fit and feel - I have several pairs. I am an active 60 so I love the longer length yet they are cool in the 100+ degree heat of AZ. I am 5'7" and 115 lbs, small fit perfectly.

Great quality. I bought two different pair and this lilac ones were to tight on my thighs. The other black shorts I keep. I love them. Since they don’t have them in lilac I will order the black ones in blue. Love the length and everything else.
