I'm not normally a Zen kind of person, but love the look and feel of a Japanese garden. I saw this and purchased it. It got here in a day or 2. I already had a vessel for it. It took me about a minute and a half to get it going. At first no water came out and I thought it was defective. So I primed it to get the air out of the line, like you'd do when beginning to siphon gas. It took a couple of times. That was about 3 months ago. I've used it almost every day since then and it works faithfully. And it really adds a lot to the atmosphere of my garden.

So far so amazing! Super simple, quick set up. Instructions for long term care included. I applied mineral oil to the bamboo in hopes that it’ll last a long time (the same oil I use inside for my cutting boards, $4.99/btl on Amazon). The small pump is working well! I’m excited to shop for a couple small plants! I added rocks to mimic the sound of a waterfall. This definitely beats spending $$$$ for a stand-alone water fountain! And I was able to get super creative with the container that I used!

I like this a lot but it will easily tip over b/c there’s no way to fasten it to the water vessel. I placed river rock on it to stabilize it a bit. Love the sound of flowing water.

The bamboo section of the fountain is pretty much as described. However fully extended it is not stable. I had to lower it but it looked fine and I like the look of it. The base is the wider bamboo as others have described and is better than the picture. The pump is pitiful. At max power it barely gets the water up the tube and out the fountain. The cord was barely long enough.It takes a bit for the pump to prime because the pump is not strong enough to move the air bubbles. I had to hold the bamboo section flat until it filled with water to get it to work.The price through Amazon was $20 cheaper than elsewhere.

The good reviews are why I bought this. I’m not disappointed it’s exactly what I wanted it’s real genuine bamboo. Quality exceeds price. I couldn’t wait to install on zen type pot I already had under bamboo wind chimes (bought from Amazon). Setting up the Zen garden will be exciting. Always wanted one. Have perfect shade around home for tropical plants zone 8 Florida. Paradise look can Become reality with affordable prices on bamboo fountain and shopping around for plants. Already have bird bath fountain from Amazon which works perfect as well. For the prices I don’t expect a $1,000.00 fountain however. These work exactly as I wanted in my gardens in two locations. Sitting on deck relaxing to sound is worth more than thousands of dollars. Love being able to adjust water flow.For those who wish to have an on and off feature on pump you might want to buy the excellent all weather remote plug in. I only turn pump off to clean as company recommends NEVER turning off as it’s meant to run 24x7. The birdbath pump has been running nonstop for 2 mos. no complaints. Pumps are affordable should it wear out. I keep one, now 2 on hand as I love and enjoy the fountains so much. Plan to run them in cold weather also.

I started with “Fountain looks nice but the pump did not operate when plugged in — unsatisfactory given the hefty price.â€Follow-up: I used the QR code on the enclosed paperwork to register my concern about the inoperative pump and was quickly contacted by David who asked what model pump I needed. This was perfect ! Very easy to put together and works extremely well. It's sturdy, too. It was well packed for delivery. We would order this again. You can use this as a stand alone fountain to rest on top of a bowl. We had a large, flat rock with a hole cut through that we used in the past with a different fountain for on top of the fountain bowl and this new fountain base slipped right in. It looks fantastic and we are glad we bought it.

It looks pretty but it’s quite basic for the price, I think this could probably be made quite easily
