My belt measured 2291 and the 2285 was the closest match I could find at the time for my Japanese Mazda MPV 2.3 (2003). Just 5mm short I thought it would fit but alas, it was soooo tight I was afraid the bearings would be killed. Lesson learnt: these belts don't stretch, so buy the exact length - I subsequently found a 2290 available on Amazon!Anyway, how to fix the 2285? Easy. I removed the tensioner and widened the 2 mounting holes on the bracket using a bigger bit, giving the tensioner bracket room to "move" with the mounting bolts loose. I then easily mounted the belt - the bracket moved itself to the best position. Tightened up the bolts (using washers for the wider holes) and, Voila! Perfect.

This belt replaced the old one that had cracks on a 2009 Jeep Wrangler. A tad longer but works great. Make sure to check all the pullies to see if they're loose and need to be replaced. I would recommend it.

Great belt as long as you can get it on. There is no or very little give in these belts. I had to take to a mechanic to release the Tensioner Pulley. It took 5 minutes to install.. perfect fit. Just take the numbers off from the old belt to match a new one. Serpintine wide is the way to go. Should last for years. Watch for cracks showing and then replace. When you pull a section of belt, should turn about a half a inch.

The belt I received was #6PK2285 which is slightly shorter than the "Mazda-Bando" #6PK2287 OEM belt that came on my car making it difficult to install, so far it's working ok

I redid all the pulleys and tensioner in my 2012 Mazda 5 this belt was put in to replace the original. I worked perfectly and hasn't slipped or squeaked so far. However winter is coming and when the temp drops to -50 it will be the true test.Update: Made it through winter without any issues! Although it only reached -48 this winter and the plastic doorhandle of the car snapped off trying to open the door but the belt did fine!
