There’s nothing like a classic pirate shirt, and this piece didn’t disappoint. My four year old son wore it to a pirate cruise and it looked great! The material was breathable enough that he didn’t overheat, and I ordered a size up so it would fit with room to grow. Great purchase and he’ll be wearing it under a tabard as part of a Prince costume this Halloween, too.

If you need a peasant shirt this will work well. I like that the fabric is slightly heavier and the sleeves are generously sized. The body did fit a little snug however-I'd size up. That said, the sleeves might then be pretty big.

I'm very happy with this shirt. I can't truly speak to the size because I ordered a 10-12 for my 10yo son knowing full well he is a small boy for his age lol, but I am buying this for next year and want to get another couple years of use out of it too. So it's big on him now but he will grow into it, just as I planned.
