It wasn't as hefty as the 1/2" line it replaced, nor did it have the internal braiding like the other, but it made for easier installation in the sections I needed more flex. My application is for an air ride system on a 1960 Impala and seems to hold up well so far, but I'd be second guessing myself if I were to use this for air brakes.

Although it may serve well for air brakes and Tractors and Trailers, I really wanted it to be marked on the lines. 5/16" dot line is difficult to find. Ill use it because the only time i have encountered this size is for my Eaton 10 speed transmission.
