These shackles do the Job of securing a few cable options in my home gm set up. I was concerned about safety in placing weight force on these key stress points while performing cable rowing, lat pull downs, triceps extensions. A slipped cable at any point when the weights are lifted could be dangerous, so strong shackles insure safe operation and allow quick removal for different exercise specifications.

Sorry folks that i haven’t these yet. I love cutting trees usually alone so i will rig the trees with ropes to guarantee their direction of fall and my safety. I have examined shackles and am satisfied they will work with my ropes. The shackle pin turns easily. Their weight and size satisfies me that they will handle the kind of loads i will be subjecting them to. Very happy with my purchase.
