I am overjoyed with my Berstuk Flower Press! For a long time now I have been wanting to create more BEAUTY in this world as I see things are so difficult for people right now. Something inside impelled me to look into the art of pressing flowers but I didn't know where to start and so I started here on Amazon. I was intuitively drawn to this model of flower press and was so happy I did. I had tried to flower press before not realizing you need to use blotting paper not normal paper and the difference is immediate! Sarah who runs the company sorted out a tiny problem I had at the very beginning and since then my journey has been flourishing. My first attempts look lovely so I can only imagine what will happen when I get more accomplished at the design part! I thought the wood might bend but it only gives very slightly so you can press the flowers down quite tightly without it breaking or snapping! The wing nuts only will go so far really so you can't break the wood. I find them preferable to the idea of straps as they are so easy to use. The design on the pale wood looks beautiful. Easy to use and their website gives you all the knowledge you need to begin this awesome ART. I do have a garden so can pick my own flowers. It gives me a warm feeling inside to know that simply arranging a few flowers this way can be so artistically satisfying and a wonderful home made gift for family and friends. Now I have done this I am excited to try doing epoxy art and put those same pressed flowers into all sorts of items. Thank you Berstuk, I will recommend your company to anyone and everyone to increase the love available in this world via the natural world. Such fun too.

I got this as my first flower press and it was a great way to get started! The kit comes with everything you need: paper, a press, and a manual with tips on flower pressing. The manual is so helpful and includes an online book about flower pressing. The wood is very durable and I've been able to press so many flowers with this set. One thing that I will highly recommend that I did not realize until MONTHS after pressing is that you should check after every 2-3 days of pressing as the flower and moisture can make the paper mold. Other than that, this set has been the perfect way for me to be introduced into the flower pressing hobby.

I am BEYOND happy with my flower press. I can already see the difference in the results of my pressed flowers by using this press. Everything is high quality and you will feel it as soon as you open your package. Now that I am takin orders for custom frames, this flower press is helping to get all my work done! It's the perfect size, small enough to hold and travel with, with no trouble! But its large enough to fill up all kinds of flowers, big and small! The blotting paper is exactly the kind of paper flowers need to press best! I have already order more blotting paper to use in my books for pressing. I also LOVE the design on top, it allowed for my BF and I to get creative and color it the way we want. Now it feels super unique and made just for me. Bought the children’s set, not clear from the instructions which side of the blotting paper to use. The paper doesn’t look very absorbent- more like shiny card. Flowers came out mouldy

I recommend watching some YouTube tutorials before trying as there are a few pointers that really helped me. I didn't tighten it all the way straight away, but over the first week tightened it more once or twice a day until it was flush. I did this to my bridesmaid bouquet so I could make myself and the bride a framed memento, which I think turned out really well. The larger flowers did go mouldy over the 2½ weeks of pressing, but the smaller flowers, leaves and petals turned out amazing I think.
