I love how strong yet easy to use these clamps are! Whenever I would go to hardware stores in the past, I would buy a cheap clamp or two. Now I just order a pair of these whenever buying a bunch of things off Amazon. I use them when bookbinding, setting up jigs, holding plastic sheeting tight across my desk when I'm painting sculptures - the list goes on and on.The only thing I've noticed is it's kind of random whether the ones I receive are shiny or matte. The difference is only aesthetic, but I still make sure to order them in pairs so they match up.

It was the cheapest option at the time, which was my only option, personally. But there have been a few problems i've had with it while I was building a greenhouse.The two metal pieces can go askew when I need them perfectly aligned, in fact, there may be a photo from another review showing this defect, I vaguely remember.The rubber tips have gotten holes cut into them, which happened from sliding them a little here and there on wood for adjustments while clamped. Last but not least, the rubber tips were not a metal coating, which means they could just slip right off, which they sure did.I needed them, and I needed them for $3, so... I made-do with them.Hope this helps.

Used this to fab a clamp for my angle gauge for my tubing bender. well made clamp. Comes kind of oily and the plastic sleeves slip on and off easily. Since I am using this in a welding area I just removed the plastic and used acetone to remove the oil, but if you are using on wood projects you may want to clean everything carefully to avoid machining oil on your projects.

This clamp is super strength. I use it to clamp hoses to my aquarium during water changes but it is so strong that I struggle to open the clamp. I do have a disability with joint damage in my hands for reference. It secures my water lines nicely though. Very effective.

These clamps are so strong that you practically need to use both hands to open them fully. I used then in building stringers and they worked beautifully clamping a carpenter square to a piece of 2x4 used as as jig. The only issue -- and likely my fault -- the protective plastic cover on one of the clamps came off when unclamping. It easily could be put back on.

I love these clamps strength but the rubber on the handles and on the clamp end falls off very quickly. I have used these now for about 6 months and I have to be extremely careful with the clamp tip ends so they don't get lost. One pair has worn through already. Again I love how strong they are but the rubber is not strong enough in my opinion.

The "red caps" at the jaws help to keep the clamp and shoe together in the small space (about 3 to 4 mm)Added glue to the inside of the red caps so that it will not move.... and give good grip..

It was a bit larger than I expected, but I could have checked the dimensions better, so that's on me. It works great, I use it to clip my blinds on the balcony to secure them for wind gusts. Very effective - the only negative is that it takes a pretty strong hand to use them, opening the clip is like opening a tight jar, many people would require both hands to open them. Not a problem so far for me.
