Rebuilt the piece in a gas fireplace that has the holes the flames go through and the fake wood sits on top.It sits on a metal platform and sells as a unit for $750. Rediculous.Anyway this grill gasket was perfect for creating the seal needed between the metal base and burner part. Just peel and stick. Perect width.

My new Z-grills 6002 smoker works wonderfully BUT the sealing round the lid to the main compartment was non-existent. It leaked almost as much smoke round the lid edges as up the chimney, and it left a significant creosote ring all around the rim after an 18-hour epic low-slow smoking session with a brisket.After running one thickness of this gasket around the whole rim on the box, and then an extra one on the lower edge where the gap is largest, it looked sealed. After a 48-hour period to give the glue ample drying time, a smoke-test was run. Now there is zero leakage around the lid!It took pretty much one roll to do this, so I still have a spare roll if needed.

Material is thin and will even tear as you try to mold it to your egg surface. Compared to egg gasket about 50% thickness.

Have used this on a Weber kettle and after getting it seated properly it makes cooking easier. Especially low and slow cooks.I even used this on a door frame that had a draft and this eliminated it.It’s quality and lasts. The adhesive is good. I highly recommend.

Works great. DO measure or dry apply to get length needed.Super strong glue! You won't be pulling this apart if you remove the paper from glue too far off. Start by peeling little paper off, be 100% sure of placement, then start to place. Pull paper as you go and go slow.I have noticed on my Traeger that I am losing far less smoke from the cover than I was.This is a cheaper priced item than the name brand LAVA something if I remember right.Probably a good idea also for any BBQ. Use that heat you paid for.

This gasket material worked very well. I had to do a lot of cleaning so the material would stick properly. After about a month absolutely no concerns or issues. Surface prep took time, but was well worth the effort. I would buy again. Take your time when applying the gasket to get the best seal possible .

I’m do a lot of high heat cooks so have to replace gaskets regularly. These are a great price point and have the same if not better quality than brand name gaskets.Super easy to apply and sticks well. Holds up as well as any felt gasket I’ve bought
