RAINFLOW Bike Tire Repair Kit - User Manual
Kit Contents
24 small round patches; 20 large round patches; 12 square patches: 2 metal tire levers: 2 tubes of glue: 4 pieces of sandpaper: 4 tire scrapers
How to Use the Tire Repair Kit
1. Remove the Tire
Use the tire levers included in the kit. Insert one lever between the tire and the rim, and gently pry the tire edge away from the rim.
Slide the lever around the rim to loosen the tire completely.
2. Locate the Puncture
After removing the tire, inflate the inner tube slightly to locate the puncture.
Submerge the inflated tube in water or carefully inspect it for escaping air bubbles to find the hole.
3. Clean and Prep the Area
Once the puncture is found, use the sandpaper or scraper to lightly roughen the area around the hole. This ensures the surface is clean and ready for the glue and patch to stick properly.
4. Apply the Glue
Select the appropriate patch size based on the size of the puncture. Choose between small round, large round, or square patches.
Apply a thin, even layer of the provided glue over the punctured area. Let the glue sit for about 2-3 minutes until it becomes tacky.
5. Apply the Patch
Place the patch over the glued area, ensuring it fully covers the puncture.
Firmly press the patch onto the tube, smoothing out any air bubbles and ensuring it sticks securely.
6. Test the Repair
After allowing the patch to bond for at least 5 minutes, inflate the inner tube again to check for any leaks. Make sure the patch is holding firmly and no air is escaping.
7. Reinstall the Tire
Carefully place the repaired inner tube back inside the tire.
Use the tire levers to reseat the tire onto the rim, making sure the tire edges are properly aligned with the rim.

Nice patch kit with many different size patches to accommodate holes. I originally got this to patch a tire that had a temp patch (patch with bad glue) but that seems to have become a permanent repair now (can’t remove that patch) . So to give this an extreme test I tried patching a tire I accidentally popped badly. I’m missing the picture for some reason of the actual patch (tossed the tube already) . I did not succeed. But under normal punctures this kit would work perfectly. And to be clear I wouldn’t used that tire even if I managed to get it to seal. I feel that would be dangerous

I purchased this bike tire patch kit hoping for a quick fix, but it turned out to be a complete waste of time and money. The patches don’t stick at all, no matter how carefully I followed the instructions. I tried multiple times, cleaned the surface thoroughly, and applied pressure as directed, but the patches just peeled off within minutes. It’s frustrating and ineffective. Don’t bother with this product if you’re looking for a reliable solution. Totally disappointed!

First thing, there are a lot of patches in this kit. And two tubes of cement. And 4 scraping tools. So I will be dividing this kit into two kits. One kit for each of my touring bikes. Second thing, the tire levers are very nice. Strong with a smooth finish. As good or better than individual tire levels I have bought in the past. Totally better than the plastic ones. A bit heavier than the plastic ones, but I am happy to add a couple extra ounces to my bike in trade for a quality tool. When you have a flat 20 miles from anyway good tools are important. And with this many patches in my tool bag I may become the tire repair guy on group rides.

First, I will say that this is an impressive kit. As my photos show, there's lots of patches, multiple roughening metal scrapers and sandpaper as well as two tubes of adhesive and two metal tire tools to remove your tire/tube.The only hesitation I had in giving 4 stars instead of 5, was because I really appreciated that the removal tools are metal and finished well to a smooth finish, I still have a bit of concern that they might damage my wheel(s) somewhat.I may be wrong, but that's just my concern. The tools themselves, I'm totally impressed with the finish and the strength that they'd possess. Overall, yes, I recommend this set. Compact and complete, although, I think that I will add along some plastic or poly tire removal tools.

I'd rather give it zero stars! The patches are huge, not usable on road tubes, and cutting it down renders them unusable. The glue is plain rubber cement, NOT vulcanizing cement, so it does NOTHING to begin with. Upon a closer look at the picture, you can see the tubes say rubber cement. DO NOT BUY.

I love how many different patches are in this kit. It seems that I’ve been getting a lot of flats lately.I have found that it has often been a patch job I previously did that ends up leaking air. I believe it is because of no glue patches I used in the past. They just aren’t as good as these.I like this kit because it has glue on patches. They work much better.Another thing I like is that the spoke tools included are metal rather than plastic. They work better. It’s a good set for the money and I would recommend.

There's a lot included for the money, which is good, but the patches are a lot stiffer than normal patches. The orange colored perimeter rubber is thinner and is meant to be a transition - it helps the patch lay flat at the edges. Since these patches have a very small flexible perimeter and the black part of the patch is stiff this will create problems on skinnier tire tubes. The tire lever are steel and don't have sharp edges, the sandpaper and metal scuff pieces are fine. There's NO way that there's enough contact cement in the 2 included tubes to use with 56 patches!

Don’t waste your money on this . The glue arrived with crack and all the content has been exposed to the air. Now it won’t stick the patch to tube rendering the entire kit useless !!
