About this item

  • Slime's SKABS are a simple, one step solution to a punctured tyre and no glue or cement required, means no mess
  • Just scuff up the area around the puncture, stick on the patch, then create a tube/tyre sandwich to keep a good pressure on the skab to hold it in place
  • Patches and scuffer easily store in included compact case and small, light enough to take with you on your next ride
  • Compact kit can be stored conveniently in a bike bag
  • Includes, 6 green pre-glued patches and 1 metal scruffer

Slime SKABS Peel-and-Stick Patches patch up tube tire punctures with no glue and no mess. Kit contains 6 pre-glued 1" patches and a round metal scuffer. Patch your bike's innertube quickly and easily with this compact kit, which can be conveniently stored in a bike bag.

Works as advertised but is only a temporary fix, at least in my case. Enough to get you home, but not long term. Knowing this Would by again though.

Removing the patches was difficult. Other than that, patching a puncture was easy.

Tried to patch a small hole in bike tube three separate times. Roughed it up and cleaned everything with rubbing alcohol. Held for about 3 minutes then let loose. Patched tubes dozens of times without issue. These just didn’t work.

Have used these for years. If you ride a bike, you need these in the seat bag.

Not sure If these can't take high air pressure over 90psi or they just don't work very well. I ordered them while waiting to get a replacement innertube for my wheelchair as I could get them the next day before my innertubes arrived. They are easy to prep and attach to an innertube and my innertube is the same as a roadbike 24"x1" bicycle tire. I tried 3 out of the kit and all 3 failed to seal the hole so I quit messing with them. I'm not sure if they can't handle 90+ psi (they should) or what , but they didn't work for me unfortunately. They held air for maybe 3 minutes max after airing up the tire and then deflated. 2nd attempt I slowly added air up to 90 to maybe let them stretch and adhere and 3rd attempt I massaged the patch all around to make sure it was firmly attached. Maybe on tubes that use less psi or are wider , they may work. I was unable to find any info on the psi they can handle so If you have a bike that takes 90+psi or more , I would be a little hesitant. If they worked , they would be great for quick temporary repairs. In my case , they were a waste of time and money.

An easy to use, high quality, low price, versatile patch that does what it should, in my case- patch up a punctured camelbak pouch.Pros-extremely simple to use (if you can use a sticker, you're good to go)-adorable tiny carrying case (just like those listerine breath strips)-value-durability, I've used my camelbak several times since patching with no soggy-bottoms!-size is appropriate for patch-able holes/tearsCons-doesn't come in different colors-so sticky if you messed up the application there probably wouldn't be any forgiveness (not really a con but I'm searching here)

Worked fast and my kid was back on the road. It has been 2 weeks and no problem. Inner tube is just fine.

Some times the old ways are the best ways. I bought these to do away with glue and that. However, these are close to being useless and I followed directions to the letter. The patches are too small and failed on multiple occasions. I tried waiting for an hr before inflation and still breached.

Fantastic little pre-glued patches that have saved me time and got me on the road again rapidly. Would recommend them to anyone who cycles reasonably regularly as you can just chuck them in the bag and forget about them until a puncture strikes. The included cheese-grater-like abrasive pad is super handy and does a good job or roughing up the rubber pre-sticking.The skabs themselves stick rapidly and are good to go about 30 seconds after sticking so you aren't having to hang about for ages waiting for rubber glue to dry or anything. I've repaired several tyres with skabs over the last few months and all have carried on riding fine without any problems so they appear to be pretty robust.

Da portare sempre con se (oltre alla camera di scorta...). Facile e veloce l'applicazione. Bene la tenute. Consoiglio per le situazioni di emergenza e non.

these seem to be rather flimsy, but they stick very well, and I have used them already twice on some older bike tubes. A lot easier to use than the old method of applying the glue to the tube and then placing the patch onto the glue. These are like a Band-Aid. Very easy to use.
