These are awesome. Way better than sucking gas (or whatever) to get the flow started. Just remember to have the supply tank (gascan, etc) higher than the fill port. Our best example for posting would be filling a pontoon boat's red external gas tank at a cabin. Before I bought this it was a comedic gymnastics event with a 5 gallon can and a funnel. Now we just set the portable can on the "bench" above and work the siphon, sweet.
