Your cart is empty.Our Short Shifter features the shortest shifts compared to all other 2015-25 WRX Short Shifters on the market. We also designed our Short Shifter to be more comfortable and ergonomic than others (no hitting your hand on the e-brake handle when shifting into second). The included Reverse Lockout is CNC machined from 6061 and anodized for a vibrant and durable finish. The Shifter Rod is machined from 304 SS. SS Hardware is included. We also include o-rings in the reverse lockout assembly to eliminate rattle (o-rings will need to be lubricated. Designed and manufactured in the USA. Will not fit STI.

As many reviews here, YouTube and elsewhere state, this completely changes the feel of the car and improves the factory shift 100%.Some additions:Once you pull the factory shift boot, you quickly see Subaru could have solved this problem for $15. There is a shift stop for the 5-6 gate, with a riser for the reverse lockout, that is adjustable whether you install this or not. This piece serves as an identical stop on the 1-2 gate.One thing to be sure of in the install is to make sure your 5-6 gate is adjusted as well. If you leave it accidentally loose or it loosens before you tighten down the bolts, the shifter will be able to go in reverse w/o raising the collar.An improvement I'd suggest to Cobb, Billetworkz, Perrin and other manufacturers of nearly identical shift stops, is to coat, affix or put a piece of delrin along the face that the shifter hits. While the shift feel is 100% improved, there is a metal click when the shifter hits the stop. It would be nice if that sound was softened to make it feel and sound expensive.I have a '23 WRX with the STi short shifter, and this really improves especially the 1-2 shift. Because it makes the shift more linear and direct, I get less bucking on shifts to 2nd where I'm trying to rev match. My pitch stop solved 80% of that problem, this solves the rest.

I didn’t think a small thing like this would change the shifting that much. It’s an absolute must. It took me 10 minutes to install and it took out all the give in 1st, 2nd, 5th, and 6th gear. It’s so smooth. It’s a 100% must have.

Well made and looks nice but it’s kind of a pain to dial in perfect. Would be nice if they incorporated a jam nut to hold the factory stop for 5-6th gear in place independently so you can adjust them separately.
