This took all of 5 Seconds to pop in. Kind of mad at myself for putting this off for so long with my stick shift bellows sort of floating in limbo after the original frame broke. Very relieved this was so cheap and simple. Jeep looks brand new inside :-)

I purchased a used 2000 TJ and it was missing this part. Installed in less than a minute and it fits and works great. Not sure what an OEM one costs but this seemed like a good value and did the job.

I replaced the inner boot on my old Jeep. Along with this I replaced the outer boot and bezel. Good for ride noise reduction. I recommend this if needed.

This product was super Fast & Easy to install in my 2000 Jeep Wrangler Sport. I'm not a mechanic, just a girl that loves her Jeep. When this piece broke in my Jeep, it looked terrible, with the shifter boot spinning around, it just looked unfinished. I had asked my ex-husband to fix it (he broke it) for over 2 years, he was a mechanic, but he never did. So here I am divorced, with no money to spare, so I thought, 'this can't be too hard, right'? I was right, I should have ordered this 2 years ago and fixed it myself. My Jeep looks "whole" again and I don't need to see a dark abyss that is under the transmission shifter boot.... what is down in there anyways? 🤔

I read the reviews and I can not believe how some people found this impossible to install! I came home from work, seen it in my mail box, put my stuff that I was carrying on the hood and installed it. Took me legit 5 minutes! If you had a problem, either you ordered the wrong part or you just shouldn't own a tool!! I've owned this jeep for a little over a month now and this was by far the easiest thing to install! It stays in place over bumps, and believe me, with a lifted jeep this thing bounces. Looks good, perfect fit. Couldn't be happier. Better than trumping around the junkyard looking for a used one.
