I potted mine up immediately (no need to disturb root ball) into 4" pots and put them under grow lights for a week before moving them into a sheltered area outside. I also noticed that there were actually 2 plants in a couple of my pots. I strongly recommend taking scissors and carefully cutting off the smaller of two if you get 2 in a pot. The ones that were one to a pot were doing significantly better than the ones with 2 plants. I do not recommend trying to separate if you happen to get 2 in one pot. I tried to and found that I could not do so without risking very significant or fatal damage to one or both of the ones I tried to separate.PrimeArk Freedom is supposed to be a very good variety and I am excited to still have four very healthy and thriving plants 2 weeks after receipt.A few years ago I ordered a couple of blackberry plants from a different seller in a similar tiny pot and after potting them up into 4 inch pots, I immediately put them outside where they got morning sun and they died soon after.I also have given mine a diluted transplant fertilizer each week.So far, I could not be happier! I received them May 2, growing zone 7. They were well packaged and not dried out.June 3, 2024 update--plants are doing great. I am moving them into 1 gallon pots. I am sure they will continue to do well.

Beautiful starter plants, arrived fast and healthy. Great company, wonderful customer service and very impressed with the quality and value of the plants they sell. I re-plant into small pots until the roots fill the pot, then I re-pot into a larger pot. Don't just put them into a large pot. Keep them in the shade until the roots have developed. These are fast growing and need to be watered daily for me here in Florida.

They were in bad shape when they arrived. Contacted seller and they said they would be fine. They were dead within 3 days no possibility of reviving them.

My plants arrived in pretty good shape for traveling across county. There were a few brown leaves, but the plants themselves were healthy. I potted them up into 4 inch pots and left them on my shady porch for about a week so they could acclimate to being transferred before I exposed them to sun. After a week I stared hardening them off, and now they are in full sun and starting to get bigger. So far, all of the plants have survived. I will wait for them to get a bit bigger to put them in their final spot, probably in late summer when the heat isn't so overbearing.

We planted two of them at the house. One took off the other, not so much. We are very happy with the one that grew like it’s supposed to grow. But I’m not sure what happened to the other one right beside it. I think we gave the other ones away. The roots look good when they came in everything about the plant looked healthy.

One lived and is doing okay, but 3 of the 4 plants I ordered died.

A little smaller than I had envisioned, but they will grow quickly. Seem to be quite healthy.

They were put on the mailbox. They all died.
