Spring Loaded Pins measures up to 1/2 inch and holds 1 pin per package. These pins makes clips unnecessary. The spring action allows the pin to be inserted and taken out simply without a clip that can be easily lost or forgotten.

Someone stole one of the locking cotters at the campground we were staying at and I had to replace quickly before towing my TJ home. OEM equipment and shipping was fast even to a bit of an out of the way campground.

While traveling, one of the locking pins came out of our Blue OX hitch. I only needed the pin but had to buy the complete set to get the locking pin. It was a Perfect match for my Blue OX. The locking pin actually clips tighter that the originals, which is a plus.

The picture shows a self retaining pin using a spring + ball bearing assembly.The product I received is a pin + linch pin combination.It works the same but it is not the simple one-step operation as in the product description.
