Hitch sizes are measured using the inside measurement of the hitch receiver opening. The SHP2040 is made to fit most 2in hitches. Some newer hitches have thick outside walls so we also recommend confirming the outside width of the receiver hitch wall is less than 92mm to fully confirm fit.

Coming from a normal trailer hitch lock and buy a nicer hitch I was looking for something more secured and less noise while traveling when leaving hitches in and this did exactly that. Saw a bunch of people recommending these and well worth the buy. No noise and hitch feels more solid. Biggest reason to buy is giving you a little more ease knowing if someone breaks the lock off you still have to ratchet the other side to take the hitch.

Excellent for eliminating movement on hitch mount products front or back. I use this along with the supplied anti rattle stabilizer on a black widow 600 lb motorcycle rack on front of 2017 3500 ram pickup truck.The silent Hitch pin by itself is a great product to reduce movement in hitch mounted carriers. When combined with the large anti rattle that came with the rack it like solid.. When I load my 2024 Lifan KPX-250 weighing in at 300 lbs the rack does not really move left to right and especially when loaded and going down the road the left to right action is almost non existence.if you use this hitch pin for a motorcycle carrier using this with the stabilizer will be the best.. one word of advise. replace the bolts on stabilizer with SS bolts and get nuts to use as lock nuts to help prevent them from getting loose over time.. you can see in the picture my bolts.

Fits great, stops hitch rattle, is long enough compared to other brands that are advertised the same, but are too short! This one isn’t. Works great 10/10

I received this item today Jan 31/2025 and I just installed it. It looks very well made. Sturdy and the best thing of all (and the main reason I bought it for) zero / absolutely NO WOBBLE AT ALL (and hence obviously no noise). It fits perfectly. I hope it lasts for a long time.This was purchased to be installed on a 2" hitch Class III with a 7" hitch extender so that I'm able to open the trunk of a Subaru Ascent 2022 while the bikes are loaded and the bike rack is tilted/folded back (Küat Transfer V2 2-bike rack). Hope that info helps somebody.Very happy with this!

This is a great product. Only reason I didn’t give 5 star is I wish it came in black. Hitches are black. Why wouldn’t owners want their hitch pin to be black?
