Great brazing rod but craft brass is expensive and this is quality rod and doesn’t break the bank for craft brass rod. I’m using it for hinge pins on laser cut boxes and latches and all kinds of things. Really a bargain.I’m even machining it on my watchmaker lathe.

It's hard to screw up brass rods. They work for me, just choose a good flux.

I'm a stained glass artist and I needed something that I could solder some art onto for plant stakes! I could have probably sized up in thickness but the length is perfect! They solder amazingly. They are sturdy enough for small to medium pieces.

Easy flow when steel is heated red . Mapp gas or propane with Blow torch will work !
