Fit our GE Side by Side Fridge as promised. Install was quick and easy (per hubby). Solved the problem of water leaking from back of unit. Subtracted one star because it's too early to tell if the replacement part will last as long as the original OEM part did, which was about 10 years.

Well... Check all issues before buying the valve.... the valve works well, my problem wasn't the valve. My kids turned the temperature in my freezer down without my knowing and the problem was the water line in side the door froze. Youtube was helpful in the thawing process and turning the temperature down, also fixed the problem....I did put the new valve in so it does work well,,,, I'll keep the old one for a spare..
