Tug-of-war is one of my dog’s favorite ways to play, if not her number one favorite. She is half German Shepherd and tears up ropes pretty quickly. I usually reorder the same one we always use but decided to go with this product for a change.It is about one foot shorter than her usual rope but thicker in diameter, and has lasted longer as a result. I do wish it was another 8-12†longer due to the way she likes to play, because then it would be perfect. However, it’s still a great rope, and we’ve definitely gotten our money’s worth out of it already.

This has been by far one of the best dog ropes I've gotten for my black lab. He absolutely loves dealing with knots and ropes and he will work at them incessantly. This one is really good for him. It provides hours of entertainment for him. I like the colors.

So it is dog approved, our dog loved it and ran around with it draping over both sides of her mouth even though she is only a puppy and it is nearly as long as she is! It has held up for over a month for a ~ 5 month old chewy puppy so that says something (her baby teeth are still coming out and she is teething, fyi). The only signs of wear appear to be the frayed ends of the rope where she tries to pull off strands, one at a time. Though honestly I'd say that is unavoidable with any rope so not necessarily a ding, but more of a 411.I believe this is one of, if not the largest pull rope I could find at the time of purchase so if you are looking for a longer rope to play tug a ware with pooch, this is a good fit!

I have a German shepherd who destroys EVERY toy, but NOT this one!! Solid, fun for the dog, easy for you to play with them and DURABLE!

My 1 1/2 yr old American Bulldog took right to it. Within a few hours however he had parts of it shredded.( Better than my couch i suppose. )We shall see how long it lasts.Update. Less than a week and we are finding string shreds all over. Have to trim off the fraying pieces.

Much bigger than expected! We have a Belgian Mallinois and the rope is still in one piece!

My dog is big and he loves playing rough. His favorite game is tug of war, this toy is perfect there’s plenty of room for you and your dog to grab onto unlike other toys we’ve had which can be annoying to play with as an owner.
