We have a large great room with built in covey holes in the wall surrounding our TV plus the very top which is 14 feet up had a ledge where we string lights and ceramics together. We need to control each of these areas independently because the wall outlets are located in each area and are always live. I had several remotes which I used and over time one switch would die and I would buy another set. I finally got fed up with having a stack of remotes and bought this package. Now I have one remote controlling a dozen lighted fixtures. They work flawlessly so far so I would highly recommend this for convenience and quality.

UPDATE: many people experience the remote suddenly failing to work. My remote finally started showing this behavior a year after my purchase. But I do know what is happening: This happens in the winter or perhaps in a well air conditioned home. The battery gets cold, the juice solidifies and the remote fails to catch a signal. There are three remedies: 1). Hold the remote on a warm part of your body (I tuck it under the back of my knee and tuck in my leg), 2) Take a blow dryer to the remote or 3) Remove the battery and roll it swiftly between your palms to heat it up. This takes about 30 seconds, as does the blow dryer. The first suggestion takes longer. This occurs with many models and it is not the remote that is broke, it is the battery that is too cold. Interesting point: look at the reviews that complain about the remote stopping suddenly, and check out the date of their review. 🙂 They are all in cold months. Other than frigid batteries, this is a very reliable device. Enjoy!OLDER REVIEW:I had a trio of remote outlets I bought back about five years ago for the Christmas tree. They finally gave out on me, but it might be battery related. Either way, I bought new batteries and also bought new remote plugs; this one has five.The buttons on the remote controls are labeled and the plugs (1-3, anyway) work well. The only issue I have is the older plugs I had allowed me to plug my lamps in the side. These only offer a receptacle on the front, making the plug jet out, making it difficult to tuck the cords away.It has a good range. I went clear over to the front of my house to turn on the lamp in the back room, and it easily turned on the lamp through the walls and any other crud I have, taking up space and blocking the plug.This means when I do get my tree up, I can turn the tree lights on and off from my seat.It comes with two remotes. The plugs come with a button on the side to activate the plug. You plug one plug in each device, and both remotes immediately work. No need to sync or pair the remote with the outlet the way you would with Bluetooth.Of course, with two remotes, someone else can have control of your devices. If you’re a control freak, good luck with that! But I like to think of it as having an extra remote to replace one that will no doubt get lost some day.The only way I could handle the previously lost remote issue with the set that only came with one remote, was to turn the lights on and off manually. When I had the lights on, I shifted in my seat and the light suddenly turned off. I found the remote beside my recliner cushion. Then I added a key ring to it and hung it on my metal desk lamp that’s holding all sorts of magnetic gizmos. And in mentioning that, I should add that I glued a small powerful magnet to one of the remotes of these outlets and it easily sticks to the metal lamp, replacing the previous remote.I do like these remote controlled outlets, even with the front-facing receptacles, which is nothing more than a mild nuisance.I am considering buying another set, but I do want to try to get my older set working first.No sense in wasting something that could be repaired.I do recommend these. If I have any issues with this set, I will be certain to update my review. But I will also update to mention any feature I discover that suddenly impresses me.

Finally a great product that doesn’t require Ridiculously and unsuccessful results. I LOVE IT!

I am all about push a button and something happens. So these controlling devices have one remote, five buttons so that you can turn on five devices. 12345 and done. I walk in my door, turn on all my Christmas lights and, Voila! Christmas is alive in my home. There just isn’t anything easier than that. It’s ridiculous to try to plug in five different light strands. There’s the mantle, there’s the swag over the window, there’s the Christmas tree, there’s the nativity. Who wants to run around and plug every one of those things in, INDIVIDUALLY? Not me. So I absolutely recommend this amazing equipment to make Christmas come alive when you come home from work.Be sure to not store them in the garage as I find that the changes of temperature can decrease the lifespan of these things.

I thought this would be great for my Christmas decorations. In previous years, I have had 2-3 separate remotes with different plugs to turn everything off and on. This having 5 plugs with one remote to operate everything seemed ideal. But when I plugged in 2 of the plugs, they seemed to work great until they keep turning off after about 30 seconds. I thought I was doing something wrong so tried another plug, this time it stayed on. It would have been a great set if everything worked properly, but I am VERY disappointed in this purchase!!!UPDATE: I reached out to the company. They were very prompt in their reply and are sending me a replacement. I would buy from them again knowing they stand behind their products.

This is one of the best purchases I’ve made on Amazon. So convenient especially if you’re a single person - allows you to control lights from anywhere in the house with a remote. Comes with 2 remotes allowing you to keep one by your bed or near the door.

リモコンの操作は快適です。しかし…電池の消費が激し過ぎます。電池も特殊な単5を使用するため百均などでは入手出来ません。その乾電池が10日程度で新品の電池パック（5本）が無くなりました(T ^ T)リモコンを使う時しか電池を入れないようにしないと大変なことになります。

I have three living room lamps in locations hard to reach in order to turn on and off. Problem solved in five minutes. Plus added a fourth lamp for convenience.

This is my third set I’ve bought. They are great and so convenient. The only thing on the five setting one two now have stopped working, so I bought another. I also have two more 3 three set ones and they work fine
