This is your basic shifter cable set. I’m an experienced bike mechanic and these are just the ticket for older, low-cost bikes. They are decent quality and will do the job. They come with the end ferrules to finish the job like a pro.Higher end bikes will need cables specifically for the brand of components that they came with, but if you have one of those, you wouldn’t be looking here.

I was able to reuse my old housing only the end was frayed and broken so I just used one of the plastic caps and was good to go on one bike. The other bike the entire cable came a part so I used a new cable and was good to go. Plenty of extra parts for the next time.
