These worked beautifully on my 1.6mm brake cables. I couldn't find the proper tool with enough leverage to make the crimp, so I used a pair of needle nose pliers in conjunction with a set of huge vise grips to crimp down the material. These are useful in preventing further cable fraying or from the frayed end cutting your skin.The alternative is to use solder and heat shrink tubing to seal the end of the cable.Overall: 5/5 stars

Priced right and works as advertised. Although the shipping was not fast, I have no issues with this product. Crimping was easy with just a pair of pliers.

Although these are somewhat expensive for a 10 pack, I didn't need a jar full of them. They are a lot better looking than what came on my bike and, as expected, easy to install.

These are the perfect little endcaps to cover old raggedy metal lines, on bikes, or anywhere else you might need to cover your old raggedy metal wire.

While these are nice, they aren't very usefull when they've been in the mail for 3 weeks. Ended up buying these from my local bike shop because I needed them urgently at that point. These still haven't shown up.Once i got mine, they worked just fine! they slip on nice and easy, and I can crimp these with the crimper on my pliers. 1 crimp has held them on nice and tight, and i doubt they'll ever slip off. This is really all you need in a cable end, so yay! they also, when put on properly, can slip off with a pair of pliers, and leave the tip of the cable un-frayed, so you'll never need to cut anything down. this is a big plus!
