I need an adjuster for my GX/apex Eagle build since the GX derailleur does come with one. This slotted right in just fine and looks clearer than an in line adjuster imo.

I was installing a newer generation of Shimano rear derailer which does not have built-in cable tension adjuster, which is crucial for proper gear indexing tuning. Found this in-line adjuster, which fit the Shimano rear derailer cable housing perfectly. One small thing is that the opening for inserting a gear cable is a little bit too big, I think this in-line adjuster need to work w/ thicker break cable as well so the opening is kind of lose for gear cable diameter. but once installed properly, there is no play and work really well.

I bought these to use with a 9 speed Shimano SLX Mountain rear derailleur. This Jagwire fits fairly snug.I have not yet used it on my bike so at that point I may add something to make it even tighter.

Nice range of adjustment. I used these to mount road bike shifters on a bike that had no barrel adjusters at the frame cable stops.I did notice that the inside bore where the cable ferrule slips in had more clearance than I would prefer.

I bought these because I thought it would be much more convenient having cable adjusters readily at hand at the brifters (brakes/shifters), and that convenience is great when it works, but after using these for a couple years, I've found that their effectiveness fades with time...I installed these with Jagwire Road Pro cables, and have been using them for 2+ years now, but after about 6 months they became less reliable. When twisting the adjusters to attempt to change the cable length, they instead began twisting the actual wires themselves. At one point I had to release disconnect the cable from the front derailleur simply to untwist the cable (and of course, re-connecting the cable to the front derailleur is never fun).So while these are moderately effective, next time I'm going to stick with the downtube cable adjusters.

J'ai monté un dérailleur VTT sur mon vélo route, à la base les dérailleurs VTT n'ont pas barrel adjuster. Le jagwire rocket II s'adapte parfaitement.

The lower part is moving with the top part with the result that no cable tensioning is achieved.

For some reason, some rear derailleurs simply don't have an adjuster on them, which makes this cable adjuster rocket super useful and the price is good too. It came in really handy.
