We all have been frustrated with trying to back up the trailer when the breaks lock up on you. You then try and put the break lock key and it falls out by the time you get back in and put it in reverse. This thing works awesome and is so simple. You have to get one if you can relate to my frustration at all.

Bought a boat trailer that originally had trailer brakes but they were removed and the mechanism to engage the brakes was left to move freely. I found this very annoying at every stop light the trailer jostling about and pulling away jolted the truck to finally get moving. This fit in the slot pretty good but left a little room for some movement still. It was shipped super quick feels like it was made with good steel and painted orange to be visible if you used trailer breaks and needed to remove it to back up. It was a good deal and doesn’t look bad at all being in the trailer full time.

Without this or an electrical connection to the trailer brakes they lock up when backing up. This is a quick easy solution.
