I used one of the diodes out of this pack for A/C wiring modifications for an engine swap on my Scion XA. It's a signal wire only, so 12v+ and very low amperage through it. This worked for my needs, and should work well if you have a similar application.I'll update this if the diode does fail prematurely.

This is better than the 1N4001 which has a forward voltage rating that starts at 0.56V. I think the rating may go higher for the Schottky Diode as the current goes up, but right out of the box they are still lower than other diodes. Very good.
