they work well and handle their current.. I have 0 complaints about it, but did end up buying a pre-made performance rectifier to keep my wiring cleaner on my project.

Im used to having to make due with 1A diodes and here I can get these big beasts for even less than the cost of parts I used to buy from the wholesalers. I tortured a few on my test bench to see what the reverse breakdown voltage was and they all did really well-over 2KV for a 1KV rated diode. Just stuffed a voltage doubler board with these and they work well. Remember to always use gltch suppression caps and balancing resistors in parallel with each one when you make a stack so when you stack them up the voltage divides evenly because the resistance in the "off" polarity can vary a lot. And they should last forever.

I tested the rated current (10amps) for 24hr and they held up. I did not check recovery time as that was not important. in my application (reverse polarity protection)
